I’m Melissa — the pink-haired chaos coordinator behind Trauma & Trinkets.

I’m a Norfolk-based maker, mum, wife, elder emo, pop punk kid at heart, Swiftie on the side, horror lover, true crime listener, tattoo collector, book crier and lifelong member of the “just one more craft project” club.

Basically… if it involves creativity, nostalgia, spooky things, loud music, or getting emotionally attached to fictional characters — there’s a good chance it already owns part of my personality 😂🖤

How Trauma & Trinkets began ✨

Trauma & Trinkets started from my little desk at home, with a Cricut, a head full of chaotic ideas, and a love for making things for people who like things a little different.

I didn’t want to just make products.

I wanted to create little moments of happiness.

The mug that makes you laugh on a hard morning. 

The sticker that feels weirdly personal.

The tiny treat you bought yourself because adulthood is a lot and sometimes you deserve a little dopamine delivery 📦✨

Why “Trauma & Trinkets”? 🖤

Because life is messy.

Most of us are just out here trying our best, healing parts of ourselves, laughing through the chaos, and wondering when exactly we were supposed to become proper adults 😂

This little corner is for:

🖤 the elder emos who know it was never “just a phase”
💀 the ones with a dark sense of humour and a soft heart
☕ the caffeine-fuelled overthinkers
✨ the beautifully weird humans
📼 the millennials healing their inner child one nostalgic purchase at a time

A little about me 💖

My personality is basically a playlist stuck on shuffle.

One minute I’m screaming along to emo classics like it’s 2006 and the eyeliner never left…

The next I’m listening to Taylor Swift and feeling personally attacked by lyrics (how dare she? 😂).

I love horror films, true crime rabbit holes, tattoos, Lego building, and books that emotionally destroy me (Kristin Hannah, I’m looking at you 😭).

I’m also a proud Warhammer wife — my husband has his tiny armies, I have my crafts, and together we have accepted that our house is very neuro-spicy and will never be minimalist 😂

Our kids (two I birthed, one a bonus) think I’m equal parts funny and completely ridiculous… which honestly feels like a pretty accurate review.

We’re a house full of imagination, random projects, creativity and chaos (including hiding recycling before our little craft goblins turn a cardboard box into their next masterpiece 😂).

And of course, there’s our furry chaos crew Oz & Dex 🐾🖤

Every order means something

Every single order is designed, created, packed and sent by me.

No big warehouse.

No faceless company.

Just one pink-haired human, probably drinking tea, probably covered in craft supplies, probably listening to creepy TikTok story times, doing a happy dance because someone chose something I made.
